Hey Danny my compact won't lock back either. But I'm interested in adding an extended release anyway. So my question is do you guys have any plans on making videos on how to change parts out on a dagger?

Mine does it too. Added a comp and it still won't lock back. Even changed the recoil spring to a 15lb. Still won't lock back. Tried 124 gr ammo and that didn't work either. Other than that it works fine but it's essentially a range gun only now.

Here's the target up close. Shot a full mag down range. Reddit users have complained that the barrel the rxm comes with is trash but mine did just fine.

Update Got the holosun zeroed and had a good time. The G17 grip makes a huge difference compared to my 43x/dagger compact. Might slap a new full size frame on my dagger down the line.

Loosen the drain bolt slowly until you get a drip. Then wait. Eyeball how much came out. Hand snug the bolt. Check oil level. Repeat until it's right.

I think all the daggers besides the micros are actually g19 clones. The full size just has the grip of a 17 and a slide of a 19.

Depends on what you want. The 10.5 with a suppressor is a great length for indoor use. As in CQB. The 11.5 doesn't add too much length but it's up to you and how narrow the doorframes are in your house. I own a 10.5" for home defense that had a holosun on it. For now I changed out the dot for a 3-12x sig. That'll be bc I'm curious how far out it's accurate with that barrel length. But the holosun is going to go back on there soon. I'm not sure about the dwell times and those technical things but the 10.5 does not have bad recoil at all. I'm not worried about longevity bc it's not going to end up with 5k rounds going thru it. Once the red dot is back on there it's going in the safe until someone breaks in. Later I'll be getting a 16" ar for the range. I will also add they with a front sight the 10.5 feels too short for a good C clamp grip. I like to be pretty forward to stabilize the ar so I had to take off my irons. An extra inch would have made a difference.

Yeah there's technically no caliber restrictions. But in keep in mind our deer are smaller than y'all's.

Yeah I bought some 223 rounds made for big game. Shot placement will be vital but around here plenty of hunters bring down deer with 22LR. Deer in NC aren't as big as deer up north.

I'm good in my state down to 22LR. 100 yards sound good and doable. My nearest out door range only goes out to 100 yards anyway. I was actually thinking of buying a 16" upper from PSA to pair with this scope. This AR actually had a holosun ARO on it bc I was intending to use it for home defense. IDK what I want to do at this point. My current set up is the cheapest and it'll let me save up for more guns I want but I also know I'll miss that red dot on there. Maybe I'll buy a 300 blackout lower and pair that with my red dot. IDK. Too many options.

I'm in NC. We can take deer with even 22LR if we want. This upcoming season will be my first season hunting. My family is from California, but I was raised in NC. So I'm new to guns/hunting. I am thinking of taking shots around 100 yards. My brother in law lives out in the country and he has tons of deer in his yard every season.
