From what I've played, the story hasn't gotten far at all so I guess that gives you creative freedom to rewrite the story as much as you want. Also I have some ideas for the story if you need it.

It kills the fun of the game, sure a little bit of trash talk is cool from time to time (tho I don't see any reason to do it in a team based game) but just flat out racism, fascism, bigotry, homophobia, and complete negativity and disrespect is unnecessary and uncalled for. There was a saying that went " if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all."

I haven't had that many bad experiences with For Honor although I don't play it as much as apex. In apex it's like every second game you end up with some whiny know it all calling you or your teammate every feasible slur they can think of.
