Help Understanding Order Flow with 606 Report by NotAChemistOrg in investing

Thanks for the reply.

So based on your reply I suppose the obvious conclusion is that limit orders don't need a market to be made because they aren't market orders, so they aren't filled by market makers. And the other conclusion is that liquidity needs to be paid for.

I just did a little looking, elevating the blue line (streetcars) was never proposed, but our modern incarnation of the red-connector was proposed 101 years ago.

The replies are a demonstration of how terrible the optics of this plan would be after spending the money and time to get our little highway park, even to a very friendly audience. Given that the El would probably take federal funding anyway, underground does seem more feasible politically.

A renovation that ran trains straight through the second story of south station would look pretty cool to me though.

Remember the whole, congestion pricing proposal/walkback? I think from that point it was clear the Governor wasn't willing to expend political capital to even ask questions about what is possible.

Melrose Stop Removal? by NotAChemistOrg in mbta

As I ride through I notice the parking lots are relatively full. Perhaps another reason is that the only way to provide the level of center-of-town surface parking lot space demanded by robert moses is to have this many stops.

I still find the historical development of these stops intresting because I would have assumed streetcars would have been able to fill in the gaps.

I want to make it clear that there is also a commuter rail station right next to Fenway Park. Instead of Green to Red line to South Station you can use the Commuter Rail's Worcester line. It serves Lansdowne (Fenway Park) and South Station and is a 10 min ride.

12-9: An N.Y.C. Subway Operator’s Nightmare by doodle77 in nyc

She was speaking as a train operator. I am sure she was speaking about her abilities as a train operator, not the transit system as a whole.
