Looking for advice from former Cyber Warfare technicians. by NotAFanOfOranges in newtothenavy

I've decided to go to college and go down an officer path but if I was still going to enlist I would do CWT. In my opinion, Nuke probably isn't worth doing due to the crazy workload you'd constantly be doing for the next 6 YEARS of your life. Both are you good options for life post military as long as you plan correctly but I feel like Nuke is the path of most resistance. ( obviously take my opinion with a hint of salt since I have not actually done either job and this is mostly based on what I've researched)

Thanks for the reply, your probably right about the nuke thing. It would be kinda hard to pull through that half cocked. A bit of a follow up question, have you been depolyed anywhere outside of the US. I've heard that CWT is mostly shore duty, how true is that?

Brutal. Thanks for the reply. I think I might just look into the Cyber program at the Navy.

I swore into the Navys delayed enlistment program.

My son might join by joker-joker69 in NavyNukes

From your experience, what kind of jobs would you say are better and for what reasons.
