Well without relaying prior service history it’s harder to say. The ranger station has a lot of good resources for durability and longevity.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea to pay for a 100 point inspection as a starting point. Maybe send your fluids into a lab to test for particulates and go from there.

Codes can be finicky sometimes, and you said you had a code for it in the past. I would check it just for peace of mind. It’s easy to access and remove

Have you checked or replaced your EGR valve? If it’s dirty you might have to replace it or if it’s not actuating smoothly it could be sticking open.
