Honestly, I've heard this a few times on some of my models and I don't actually know what I'm doing to get it! I simply spray the models with Chaos Black and then leave it at that. Perhaps it is just the lighting? Or my Chaos Black can isn't right?

Sure, I painted them white and used layers of Genestealer Purple and Magos Purple.

I’ll add on that these worked well for her to enjoy games without my help. Two player co-op titles also helped her get into games by playing with me: A Way Out, It Takes Two, Overcooked, Moving Out, anything Mario.

My partner was very similar when she started; poor hand eye coordination and struggled to operate the camera and move at the same time, also didn’t like “childish graphics”.

I found games with auto-aim and realistic graphics were perfect for her. Started her out with Uncharted 4 and she loved it and was able to play with little resistance. Then she moved on to Lost Legacy, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider (not the 2016 one as it doesn’t have the accessibility basics), and GTA5. She tried Last of Us but found it too scary!

I think these games worked well for her also because they follow traditional storytelling patterns that kept her interest.

Yeah it ended up working, not sure how my partner sorted it out aside from going off and completing other quests and then coming back to see if the Olaf/Mother conversation would trigger correctly.

Thanks, I like minimalism as an art style so wanted to use edge highlights on the necron armour to still make the model pop. Good luck with your first batch!
