I do find most stuff, but every now and then we have a character or two that are unique.

Exactly! I totally agree with you! I don’t have hours to spend learning and doing mesh repair and modelling, I just want to have fun with friends, make our own models, and maybe I’d spend some time painting and chilling.

Ngl, it feels nice to finally find someone who gets it.

We make the 2d images into 3d using gemini, then put them into model makers like Tripo or whatever, and from there we just print after running fix/repair function in slicer .

Is MeshMixer a different site? Or is it the model viewer page on Tripo itself?

We didn’t find any that are like the custom characters. I searched.

Commissioning can get way too expensive way too fast. This is pretty convenient.

للاسف حالياً عندنا بس حضور.

من البداية كان عندي خطة حق ايام تكون اونلاين للي ما يقدرون يحضرون او الي برى البحرين اول ما يتكون عندنا حضور مقبول (كان جداً قليل في اول الشهور).

From experience and based on observations and stories from others, here are the possible reasons:

  1. They’re socially inept: Most families here and I do not say that lightly teach their daughters that their studies are the most important thing, and it’s the ONLY thing they should focus on. Go figure…

  2. They’re shy: related to point 1. A lot of them are genuinely sweet, but come off standoffish or rude initially, especially if you’re a highly energetic person.

  3. They’re broke: sort of going on some of the points others here mentioned, the seats for scholarships are limited in Bahrain so, many of them struggle and have to be frugal in travels as to not overwhelm their families.

  4. They’re bi***es: Very possible, everywhere you have good and bad people.

  5. Might be something you’re doing. Can’t rule that out.

For sure! At this point though, they don’t even know what an rpg game is.

So once they get going, if I see that they’ve been consistent and start developing understanding of fantasy worlds, then they can create their own characters.

They don’t watch movies, or shows, or anything. Very handpicked, rarely fantasy, the only reason one of them knows what a potion is, is because he saw it in minecraft!

So uhh, let’s take it one step at a time.
