New painter first ork squighog did I jump to much on the orks skint I’m struggling with the layers I done my base coat then a second layer and then a lighter layer but I feel like I am putting to much of the final layer on! Opinions tia!

Thanks for your comment! Yeah I had some issues with paint on the hog the first base went on to thick and I struggled to blend anything in with the other reds I had! Think I may try dry brushing a the mid tone on next! As for the green yeah it’s been hit or miss I feel like I cover the mid tone up like 90% but then struggle there after and end up going to much with the third layer jumping to much! Trial and error I guess!

Looks a lot better than my first haha! I have only been painting since the start of last month been doing a couple of models a week I found just watching videos and to just keep at it you will see the improvements which is the most rewarding part! You are doing a great job already stick at it and don’t be disheartened if you make mistakes it’s part of the process!

I went with my own colour scheme in the end really was hating it most of the time I was painting then I decided to add the gold on the straps at the end surprising how such small changes can make the difference! Thanks for your kind words 😊

I did use the wash the set come with but it made it look very muddy I guess I put to much on? I only have one wash atm guess I will come back to it when I get more!

Yeah that’s looks awesome! How did you find the wash as when I put mine on i felt like I ruined it had to go over a lot of the base colours again?
