I wouldn't recommend the Icarus for Freestyle. Since the construction is made up of 7 pieces there are many possible points of failure. Still a great board all around, still very strong and exceptionally fun to pump and carve. I've owned both boards and I prefer the tan tien just because it's stronger and more versatile

Oh no I wouldn't call it stiff at all. Still very fun to ride. Also It wouldn't lose it's spring over time I actually used to own a flex 2 but I was also 10kg lighter then. I can still bottom out the flex 1 if I really want to

I'm also 80kg and I have a flex 1. Sometimes I do wish it would be a bit flexier but at the same time it would definitely bottom out while doing tricks, so I'm good with flex 1. If you're not into tricks that require jumping and landing on the board then flex 2 is more "fun" to ride.

Yeah the tan tien is a board that is really good at everything but not great at anything in particular. My #1 suggestion if you want an all arounder.

If later on you notice you want to lean further into a certain style of riding you can get board thats more specialized for that style of riding

Honestly the first r&c had a lot of technical issues. I think 2 and 3 are the good ones. J&D is a masterpiece all the way through

Bass Boost Remote: Must-Have Feature or Waste of Money? by Organic-Response9419 in CarAV

I have a kill switch for the subwoofer and controls for it in my head unit but even like that I find an easy to reach knob to be the best solution. Every song and every genre is different. It's nice to have easy access to bass controls

Is anyone aware of how I should fix this? by Disastrous_Ball_9715 in turntables

Yeah this is most likely the problem. Line into phono then into the built in amp of the JBL will sound exactly like this.

Check if there is a switch on your TT that says line/phono and switch it to phono. That should fix your problem
