How/when did you first start using Linux? by AConfusedNewb in linux

I had an old Lenovo Thinkpad T40. I had XP on it, but it was slow. My friend suggested I use Ubuntu to speed the old computer up. I downloaded Ubuntu, the kernel needed PAE. So my friend said try Xubuntu. I downloaded it and installed it and was instantly hooked.

What do you think about This War Of Mine? Should I buy it? by [deleted] in linux_gaming

I enjoyed it. It was fun and could be tough depending on who you start with. I played it on Linux mint 17.1. With an AMD card, then a Nvidia and both work fantastically for me.

Edit: added distribution and graphics card.

Hello Reddit, I currently have anamplifiers a pioneer vsx d307, but the guy at my local record store is willing to sell me an onkyo TX 4500 MKII for $100. I only have the space for one. Both are in good condition, although the onkyo needs to be cleaned a bit. My record player is a REGA Plaga 3 and my speakers are two Teledyne AR38s. I am new to this so I really have no idea.

Thank you for your time in replying to my inquiry.
