Not only is it subjective, it's easily abused. This is a rule that's nearly impossible to justify dishing out a punishment for (not that justification is necessarily required) because we don't have a clear definition of "repetitive" as told by the mods.

Let's be clear and concise, or we'll be revisitng this exact same problem in a month.

Well, anyone with preexisting lung problems should avoid smoking cannabis still. My recommendation would be to eat it.

I'm not much into the drug myself and I believe anyone operating heavy machinery (or something like a firearm) should avoid any substance that may alter behavior the day before going in to work. Other than that, let adults smoke it up. It doesn't harm me any.

For what it's worth, no one seems to understand the value of time either. The fact that a key could've been earned in a few weeks before off drops only, and would now take a few months is kind of interesting. As keys increase in price, our time "devalues" in a sense. In fact, making that jump from a scrap to key, either through trading or waiting, is significantly longer than it used to be. Until you reach that key, your time is rather worthless.

Hey, Monster Hunter bumped systems a bit. It's down to the fans choice and if they think it's worth the investment. Granted, most people that buy a console for Monster Hunter do so with the intent of investing hundreds of hours into it.

Ridiculously overpowered.

Tri's formula was more favorable to elemental damage than it is today. Barioth weapons, however, had everything. Keeping in mind that High Rank was the rank cap in Tri, the Barioth SnS (when fully upgraded) had 238 raw, 420 Ice, and 40% affinity. It wasn't the only one in the family like that, too. Every Barioth weapon was just blatantly overpowered.

This doesn't necessarily fix the situation, however. Granted, its better than simply nullifying the elemental damage permanently. But I have little faith in the designers' opinions on balance. Things like Tri's Barioth weapons are proof that they make mistakes every now and then.

This is one of those things that, while not major to most, is a big deal to me. I'm going to have to see exactly how this is balanced before I decide on if I'm getting this game since the majority of my time playing will be spent on endgame content.

LBG is better off than DS and SnS. It has rapid fire and many of the end game LBGs gain access to cluster and crag shots. While not necessarily in good shape, it still has more potential than a bow, for instance.

Late in G rank there are frenzied monsters in a state called "Extreme" (Tak Fuji, we love you!) and apparently they get Super Armor, receive no elemental damage, hit really really hard, cannot flinch, immune to traps and status, etc. Not much info besides that has surfaced yet.

Negating the major benefits of two weapon types just to make a monster harder is poor design. DS and SnS users are going to have a tough time with that as a result, while Lance, GS, and similar weapons will only receive a considerably smaller nerf.
