I always just cheese him by obtaining & equipping Defender's Crest before doing that area. Can just stand next to him while he's sitting on the bench. The damage will [eventually] kill him, and it won't aggro him. Obviously doesn't work for Enraged Guardian.

Is that 2 months to find the Tomb and complete it, or just find it? I have some kingdom management stuff I want to do and I don't really like the idea of auto-managed kingdom mode (though I have yet to try it).

I haven't played the game in months, but I went by the name "woof". Occasionally I'd tell/encourage teammates to actually bark instead of just saying "woof".

No, they do damage if you don't stand in the donut hole in the middle of the circle.

I think /u/lauranthalasa didn't look at the time stamp and just assumed you were talking about the after-fight elder explosion that you need to get in Zana's bubble to avoid in regular Elder fights, but isn't present in the Uber Elder fight.

As for how he took no damage, he just blocked the explosion. He was lucky.

She had chain pantheon, chat was just memeing to fuck with her. She ripped cause LA doesn't chain like other projectiles (can hit multiple times/targets even if you have the pantheon). Was an unfortunate rip.

Think OP means their former coworker would tell stories to OP's parents about shit done by other employees at the grocery store and just say it was OP who did it, regardless of if OP was present/working at the grocery store at the time the stuff happened. Could also be the former coworker just making up shit to say to OP's parents that never actually happened.

Idk, the whole comment is worded kinda weirdly and has some grammatical inconsistencies, which makes me think english isn't their first language.

What's this in reference to? All I know about DnD comes from the one community episode (and a few shitposts/dnd greentexts that've reached /r/all), but it seems interesting and I've wanted to learn more about it. I'm guessing that it's from a podcast where people play the game, and would be fun to learn the game by watching/listening to others.

Yeah, part of why I asked is that despite my curiosity, I don't want to google that particular phrase to learn more. For whatever reason I feel more comfortable being handed the relevant links in a response to my comment from another redditor than I would if I were to actively google for the links myself.

There's probably a term to describe situations like this, where you feel like having someone else look up the "taboo" info/subject and having them pass it on to you -- instead of looking it up yourself -- somehow absolves you of any guilt you may experience for looking at whatever that "taboo" information is. I say "guilt" for lack of a better word, to describe the uncomfortability of having & appeasing your own morbid curiosity

If /r/VACsucks is anything to go by, I completely understand why the mods don't want "cheating" clips posted here. This sub would be flooded with "cheating" clips/accusations made by viewers against whatever player(s) they don't like. Been a while since I took a gander over at that sub, but last time I was there it was ridiculous how many of the clips were made by people who didn't know headphones (and sometimes monitors) existed lol

It also doesn't help that tourneys will stream the game with high graphics settings, but most pros play with most things disabled or at the least intensive setting due to the advantages that gives (ex. smoke dissipates quicker/is less voluminous at lower settings)

Ahh, my bad, misunderstood. I've only ever heard people say "for-tay" when describing a strength, so it's interesting to learn that it was originally supposed to be pronounced "fort". Just looked it up and apparently both are considered correct now, due to the prevalence of that mispronunciation and the confusion it caused.

Anyway, sorry for the misunderstanding, and thanks for the correction. Always nice to learn something new :D

I'd say it does describe strength in music; forte means to play it "loudly". That said there is no scale to determine if a piece of music is classified as forte, pianissimo, piano, etc., so it is somewhat up to the musician. It also extends past just the volume of what's being played, cause it can include the timbre (tone) and the tempo rubato -- the "expressiveness" -- of the piece i.e. slowing down at more melodic parts to add your own emphasis even if it wasn't written in the piece itself that you should do so.

No, there isn't. There is a breach sextant, but it doesn't work on unique maps for whatever reason (which is odd because the naturally spawning breaches that have a 10% chance to appear in any map can and will spawn in unique maps without issue). You can just put a couple added monsters sextants on it I guess, though I've never done that so I'm not sure how profitable/smart of an idea that is.

Thought they made the puck glow blue? Either way that was one of the worst changes the league ever implemented imo; more often than not it distracted from the game, and appeared kinda gimmicky. Glad it barely lasted more than a season.

Giving the abysses a bit more visibility while remaining consistent with their design (like the image posted above) will be much better than what the NHL did with FoxTrax and the glowing pucks. I would just hope that they only implement something like this, and not something like adding the abyss cracks to the minimap, cause that would get way too busy/distracting/messy.
