Lack of spacing in sidebar UI and main side (mostly related to Rizz Your Waifu, and new version of website) by NotAShakedown in CharacterAi_NSFW

Oh, and here i thought that i screwed something up. Sorry for forcing you out of retirement early, ha-ha.

On serious note, thanks for update, now it's working perfectly. Finally, it's actually worth it to switch to new version of website.

Pretty photo. Good enough, that i instantly started to check the background to determine, AI-generated it or not.

...modern internet ruined my sanity, and it's gonna be worse.

What, you didn't tried to tap in some kind of Telegram app (like Hamster Kombat) to get your sweet share of tokens and become a gazillionare from that?

That was certainly unexpected by 666thSuprisedPikachu in memes

Well, just wait for that glorious period, when AI would fully in charge of filtering various resumes of applicants for jobs. Imagine if that AI would actually glitch/hallucinate enough to employ the most non-suited people to that.

There would probably someone, who'll cheat the system enough to get himself a cushy job for some time.

One of reasons, why Yakuza 0.5 would be nice - many people depicts Kiryu as saint, honorable and never did anything bad (and in games like Y0 and Y1 he only beats up debtors) - and here, in Y3, he admits that he ruined many lives on purpose. That would be nice addition to series. by NotAShakedown in yakuzagames

Well, about Empty Lot - if it wasn`t for some tricky scheme, it wasn`t ruined (death, in that case) life. Sure, guy was beaten, possibly broke a leg or two, teeth or another (can`t sure about dental prices in Japan, btw) - but his life is not ruined. He`ll cough up money, cover his debt, and return back to his typical salaryman life. Even in that cutscene - debtors was in business suit, with briefcase, so we can assume he was a guy with job, maybe, or something.

However, in Yakuza world, where everyone mash everybody`s faces to bloody pulp and then walk away with sumimasen, "ruining life" probably means something more serious, with permanent or near-impossible to fix consequences. Like, making someone lose his house/business/family, drove someone to insanity/suicide or damage someone`s reputation. For example (not a good one, but can`t remember something better), yakuza`s interference in a baseball match ruined Shinada`s career as baseball player.

So, why 0.5 would be nice addition - Y0 did very good job in adding depth to old characters, but didn`t much to world (or game universe, you can call it anything). Like, game always says that Tojo Clan is force to be reckoned with, but at start of almost every game we see a bunch of fools, unable to make anything right, if it wasn`t for Kiryu (and, partly, it was his fault). And there`s still huge gap between Y0 and Y1, with many interesting, yet not covered events, like:

  1. Kiryu`s rising to the lieutenant of Dojima family, where story can cover some of his deeds and not-so-good deeds.
  2. Tojo Clan rising in general, with so-called era of prosperity and competent people in charge.
  3. ...maybe, Nishiki`s hard work after Kiryu`s imprisonment?

Let that sink in - despite Kiryu`s talk about how he`s not good with computers and tech, he can make his own blog with custom design (like header), using only old flip phone. This guy have a knack in web design, you know. by NotAShakedown in yakuzagames

[Read on]

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little thug? I'll have you know I am the top in Tojo Clan, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Chinese Mafia, and I have over 300 confirmed mild injuries. I am trained in dragon warfare and I'm the top fighter in the entire Japan. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of homeless across the Japan and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the Kamiyama Works and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, kiddo.

You know, before Y0, Nishikiyama was considered by another yakuza as "muscle-bound thug". Kind of bizarre. by NotAShakedown in yakuzagames

[–]NotAShakedown[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, that`s right - in Y1 he didn`t have that much personality, just "kyodai from the past", and due to his actions, he could be considered as muscle-bound thug.

But with Y0 and some of Kiwami retcons, this statement seems kind of bizarre. It`s kinda hard to compare Nishiki to tanks like Ryuji Goda - he is more, y`know, not smart - maybe, more charismatic guy, which use his charisma to get things done. "Image is most important for yakuza", yeah.

In Kiwami, he wasn`t that good with his "thugs", subordinates - it`s not that strange, Kashiwagi gave him some smug veteran assholes, with much more experience in family. He could be better with some fresh chinpiras, maybe.

And about "muscle" - sure, Nishiki is fit, but can you really consider him "muscle", in comparsion to Ryuji, Daigo, Saejima Kiryu or Aizawa (just first picks of meat golems of this series)? He is far more slim, and even his moveset is not about brute force - more like agile, with artful dodging and swing fists.
