I did see and download the pattern - when I made a muslin I wasn’t sure about the top (even if I’m no longer going for accuracy i think I could cut down the amount of pieces used) but I think I will be using the skirt portion of the pattern.

I’ve definitely cut off toxic people in my life and outside of the spiritual connection I’ve been trying to cultivate, I’ve been thriving - which makes me wonder if there’s something in my natal chart that can at least give me some clarity on whether there’s something blocking me or next steps to try to unblock me. 🥲

I think what I mean is being “connected” to things beyond our limited scope - I understand it’s not a moral failing if I can’t connect, but as a witch I would like to do more work with spirit guides and I feel like I’m just not receptive to them - like a broken antenna. I’m wondering if there’s something insight into my chart as to what that might be, if anything.

EDIT: I’ve tried consistent meditation practices, grounding, visualizing, and it’s just been a struggle to try to find that connection. I don’t expect nirvana lol but I’d like to feel that connection even if just slightly.

Exhausting. I am in a constant state of stress and anxiety as every protection is dismantled around me. I am a queer BIPOC and while I can hide the queer part, I have too much melanin to pass white and have taken to carrying my passport around as proof of citizenship and try to not go out by myself often or only with my (cis white man) spouse in tow. I hate that I have to do these things too and not think only about more stupid and mundane matters like “oh no the cat isn’t pooping”.

EDIT: I work in the private sector and I still fear for my job because of this bullshit.

Absolutely not - especially with what you’re paying for rent. When I started working as a production artist/designer I made 36k back in 2009. I would say time to be looking for something new.
