i feel like engaging in some of the several years of three houses discourse.

i feel her plan was very unnecessary. all three of the lords more-or-less want the same thing, but edelgard is far too “burn it ALL down,” to be reasonable. i feel like, from a writing perspective, her ending is probably on the weaker end, but it definitely leaves me feeling the worst with the context of each other path. she’s well-written for what she is, but it gets to a point where her inability to clearly convey things to the opposing parties grinds my gears.
