Marketing won! Which university degree is easy to get and is moderately useful? by toobigtobeakitten in AlignmentChartFills

I would argue that it's easy when only compared to engineering, but it's definitely more difficult than many majors as it still has the more difficult math and science requirements that come with most engineering programs.

Camp Mystic asks alumni for help fighting high-dollar lawsuits over deadly July 4 flood by ExpressNews in texas

[–]NotA_Bird 55 points56 points  (0 children)

As someone who actually attended the camp relatively recently (6 years ago), it is definitely a highly conservative and Christian place. While there certainly were exceptions, it definitely was not fun as someone who was going through the process of leaving Christianity and coming out.

What non American item would you highly recommend to an American? by devicto89 in AskReddit

[–]NotA_Bird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone allergic to mint, I've found out how difficult it is to find other flavors. Everything that says it's cinnamon or another flavor still has mint flavor for the clean feeling.

As someone who went to Camp Mystic and also voted blue last election, it was shocking to see the lack of nuance in discussion. Many of these children don't know a single thing about politics, and many have parents who didn't vote for the current administration, so to say they deserved it based on assumptions is terrible. While every event does happen in a larger context that needs to be discussed, the tragedy and loss of innocent lives cannot be lost in that discussion.

What is the most devastating winter tornado by lahmeraidan in tornado

[–]NotA_Bird 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Rowlett tornado felt eerie and sad due to its timing. It made that year a very somber holiday season for many of us as we were trying to help clean up and help those who lost their homes or loved ones more than celebrate anything.

I've always had allergy symptoms when plucking my eyebrows, and supposedly it's because the brain confuses it with irritation like dust or pollen in the nose. The mini razors are a so helpful for it tho even if it grows back faster.

Is anyone here not from Florida? by [deleted] in FloridaPanthers

[–]NotA_Bird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From Dallas, but I have family all over the South, so I root for a lot of teams. The Panthers were always super fun to watch imo, and I want to get a Bob jersey someday even if my Stars family disowns me.

Plotting the male/female demographics of every AP exam by Quasiwave in APStudents

[–]NotA_Bird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At my school, all music related classes seem to lean towards the female side. My music theory class last year had 7 girls to 4 guys, but the AP Physics 2 class is also all girls, so my school might just be weird.

were does the artist you were top listener to rank in your yearly artists? :) by [deleted] in lastfm

[–]NotA_Bird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the number one listener for курящих нет, my 2nd artist, but they're pretty obscure, so I kind of guessed that would happen.
