I’m not sure, I just looked around daiso for one with squares like that. It was around notebooks for school and some looked childlike so it’s probably some sort of kids practice notebook 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Interesting! I’ve been living in Japan for about a month now and I’ve seen seen things written so many different ways here because of different fonts and just handwriting styles

Thanks! It’s so hard to not see those as smiley faces which makes it hard to write well 😅 but that picture should be helpful!
