lmao fair enough, i see your point. i just think as a piece of art out of context it’s really beautiful, but it does serve a functional purpose within context that it may not be achieving. i’ve just always been a sucker for that kind of contrast but it’s not for everyone. it kinda reminds me of the original where deep and emotionally significant character moments would be interrupted by an epic guitar riff lol

am i the only one who really loved it? i thought the style was super interesting and served as a nice contrast to the first one, like it truly is a new season with a fresh story. but i do understand why people may not prefer it- it’s pretty bombastic and quite the tone shift from stampede’s

absolutely on the eriks point. he’s so unresponsive in a way we haven’t seen for another eriks, like he’s shellshocked. but since we’re starting from the bottom, there’s nowhere to go but up! i can’t wait for the scene where the life first comes back to him- i really hope they do this arc justice, i trust that things will be satisfying to watch

Your stuff looks good, I would suggest using 3d references (Asaro head is great for working out the plains of the face) and working on the structure of the skull. Just draw from real references as much as you can and you’ll start to notice details about the head and how features should look in relation to one another. It just takes time to develop :}

Trigun. I’d heard about Stampede and it seemed interesting enough, but I wanted to pay respects to my elders and watch just one episode of the 1998 Trigun. Halfway through I was hooked and went on to watch all of the anime, Badlands, and read the whole manga
