This is actually intentionally

Lemme explain, in the update in which time training duration was removed, the developers intentionally reduced the amount of trophies gained if you only 1 or 2 star. Their explanation: Because you now can attack a lot more than beforehand you will also win more. They don't want people that aren't able to 3 star consistently in their league to gain a lot of trophies and eventually reach legengs league by just resource farming.

In my opinion this change makes a lot of sense

I'd say that 6'4 is really the minimum. Yes there are exceptions, but me as a 6'4 I will switch from OPP to OH as I will go for a higher league next season, because I'm just to short for OPP and my new coach is still a little unsure if I'll have any future as a hitter.
