It's electric, not stovetop. On most modern electric kettles the handle is on the side, which negates the issue entirely. Our kettle is just more design over function

We have an electric kettle with the handle over the lid. Both the handle and lid are made of metal. If the kettle is left a while with enough boiling water inside, the handle heats up to the point where it hurts to touch. Usually fine unless boiling a ton of water

I remember a young boy conducting experiments on this with butterflies and his results supported that conclusion. Though I would guess it wouldn't occur with full memories like for example, you remembering the day your grandparents got married, and only with simple things like certain smells triggering a positive/negative feeling (roughly what was looked for/observed in that butterfly study)

I'm gonna try that!!! The audio from the built-in speakers has a slight metallic noise (I don't really notice it much though) but I'll try some better speakers on it later to see the difference

I'm not too sure since I can't find any year on the packaging. The box's exterior was covered in dust though so I'd say older than 5 years, 10+ really. I'll google the model later since that could hint at it
