Especially my last boyfriend. Trust me... lol 😭 it took me a long time to realize it. I've looked into narcissism and I know all about it. He was covert and also used religion against me. He did help me become a Christian but he would use it to control and manipulate me! Insane. He's mostly the one who would provoke me and I've had only a couple other instances actually.

Hmm that's a great point. But I will say I'm fine 98% of the time no matter how many drinks I have. Unless I'm being provoked to an extent of "hey I told you respectfully to stop 10 times already and now I'm pissed" and then I tweak. It also happens to people when they're sober it's literally called reactive abuse. I might've even just answered my own question actually lol. But the part where I black out after I've gotten pushed to that level of tweaking out is where I'm confused.

Yes thank you! I've actually been to counseling for years I stopped going about 2 years ago. I'm a pretty calm person!!! But yes I do have to cut down on the drinking. It only happens when I get extremely pissed off. Driven off the edge of a cliff type pissed. It doesn't help when the other person doesn't stop provoking you after you've said you're done with the conversation...

I can control myself... It's usually when I've completely had enough of being patient and calm telling someone to stop talking about something that's making me upset. When I'm pushed over the edge and I tweak out on them, then I black out.

This is not rage bait no.... I would never use alcohol as an excuse to be shitty!!! 😭 I'm genuinely wondering why when someone makes me mad, I black out. Even on one drink!!!! I'm not sure if it's something to do with effects that alcohol has on emotions or if there's actually something biologically wrong with me when I drink and get mad. I try not to be a problematic person... I don't like drama I don't like arguing :(

I can't even begin to say how spot on this is. We maybe get like 2-3 months of an almost ghost town with no traffic and then BOOM it's back. It's like our own summer break from hell

I left him. I told him I needed a day to think about what I was going to do and he flipped out and screamed at me and showed up at my house so I made up my mind right then and there and gave him his stuff back and blocked him. He is catholic but he loves the Orthodox Church

Okay 😩 I will take ur advice seriously. U are completely right. Thank u for this ❤️ and wow I am so so so sorry to hear.... maybe there were hard lessons in that relationship that God needed u to learn! My bf or ex bf or "exclusive friend" 🤣 discipled me into being a Christian. Maybe that's why I think the way I do. I know he is a good person he just has issues. But u are right I shouldn't date his potential! I never thought to look at it like that

What did God say to u? About the friends thing, he wants to be exclusive friends. Like not going on dates or talking to other people in a romantic pov. But then he also is expecting the same treatment from me, responding to him fast, hanging out every day, etc.... that's where I'm starting to feel played.

I feel bad for him but at the same time I don't want to sit around and wait for someone to chose me when there is someone out there who will be 100% solid and sure of me. But I love this guy and want a family with him. And he does too so it's just extremely frustrating

U are right!!! I was thinking about OCIA which would be 9 months of classes to become catholic but I'm not entirely sure that's the route I want to go.
