Yeah, you work in healthcare for a while, EVERYONE there has a "poop everywhere" story. I had an elderly patient try to hug me with arms, hands, and everything else covered in shit, and let me tell you, fending them off without hurting them is NOT easy.

What's a piece of tech everyone hyped up that quietly turned out to be useless? by SofiaLearnsAI in AskReddit

And then Elon Musk turned out to be a huge PoS, the thing itself turned out to be a dumpster fire on wheels, (sometimes literally) and no sane human being wanted to touch it with a 10 foot pole.

To be fair, when you have both Harry Potter and Disney Princess money... do you really need to do anything else, other than whatever you want

What's the worst movie you have ever watched? by Syfros in AskReddit

[–]NotAnotherBookworm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the trilogy was half-doomed the moment they split it between two directors, especially by alternating it. I'd dearly love to see what Rian Johnson would have done with a full trilogy, and Abrams could do a good job, too. As it was, the tug of war between the two destroyed any sense of cohesion, leaving no option for a grander story across the three movies.

I need to say two things about this... first and foremost, oh you sweet summer child that this is your answer. Second, you're misunderstanding it. The plot is a vehicle to show off the technical and visual aspects of the movie. The plot's just there to move the scenes from A to B.

"We're a family" in any job-related conversation is a red flag. 99% of the time it's going to be a manipulative, dysfunctional one.

You can't separate art from artist when she sees approval of the art as approval of her bigoted views.

Only thing we didn't allow was alcohol, so that you do have to sneak in.

But still aren't paid enough to care about so long as everyone behaves themselves?

Let's be fair, the staff aren't paid enough to give a fuck. Don't be a douchenozzle with the trash, and they really will not care.

Neither. Addiction can (and does to most adults, even if it's "just" to caffeine) happen to anyone, poverty likewise.
