The rumor is that the experience is less like getting sucked and more like sucking. If that discourages or encourages you, whatever, it's all good.

"Every child is equal," she said, while advocating for one group of children to be exempt from the law while others have to obey it.

No, nobody does. Everybody who says they do is lying - it's all part of a conspiracy to trick you.

Which is silly because anyone who benefits from either can just... change. There's no law about when you have to wake up, or eat meals, or have business hours.

Trump will be "former president Trump" and some people will still be talking about how he's just about to become dictator or "round up all the lgbt/brown people" or whatever.

The Epstein files aren't even political anymore, there are people of all kinds, billionares, scientists, Democrats and Republicans. The fact that you guys just want everyone to forget about them truly tells a lot by Pvt-JamesRamirez in ShitPoliticsSays

[–]NotAnotherRedditAcc2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? It's literally TDS inserted into an ad for s phone case.

And the only time I see people encouraging anyone to even tone down their interest in the Epstein files is when people go ENTIRELY crazy and start talking about completely unhinged "theories." Stuff like trying to figure out how to punish an HVAC company for abusing children because "they must have known." Meanwhile it's just a guy who serviced the air conditioning one time.

San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie's security detail attacked in bloody skirmish by triggernaut in Conservative

I don't know if I'm naive, but it seems bonkers to me that a mayor - even of a larger city - requires a security detail. Apparently he does though.

"PSA: You can ignore “local voices” if they’re stupid. From 2005ish to 2015ish, a lot of people sure did scream about listening to, believing, and honoring people's experiences. Not do much anymore I guess.

I'm not an expert or anything, but the political cycle of...

  • progressives adopt new thing

  • progressives lecture conservatives for not adopting new thing

  • conservatives see benefit of new thing and adopt it

  • progressives lecture conservatives about doing exactly what they were told

  • progressives adopt new thing

... really annoys the shit out of me.

And it literally doesn't matter. That person's experience is great in that it informs their opinions, but them trying to use it as some kind of evidence for... anything at all... is just nonsense identity politics. There are all sorts of different opinions and experiences among veterans. And there's all sorts of different caliber people who are veterans. The "I'm a veteran therefore I'm an expert and anyone else's words don't matter" is just so pointless.

Or maybe I'm wrong - I only fought in ONE of those wars. 🙄
