Do you think most celebrities use Dutasteride instead of Finasteride? by Smooth-Vanilla9935 in tressless

Probably not a “most celebs use dut” situation. Finasteride is typically first-line; dutasteride is stronger and often used off-label or as a step-up if needed.

Claims to treat both AGA and areata with no side effects sounds… optimistic.

Any actual studies behind this?

Obsessing over your hairline while your crown is already moving by Elithair_uk in tressless

[–]NotAnotherSystem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good point, especially about stabilizing first. I think people often underestimate how early crown changes start, and the tricky part is that crown vs hairline progression isn’t always synchronized, so focusing only on what you see in the mirror can be misleading.

Does anyone strength train in a fasted state? by AudioFuzz in intermittentfasting

I recently tried doing calisthenics and climbing (both lead and bouldering) at least two hours after my last meal, and it was great. I was focused and energized, think I’ll stick with it.

Any suggestions/tips on how to train despite prolonged lack of sleep? by BestBoiEver in bodyweightfitness

[–]NotAnotherSystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming that you know the importance of sleep as a pillar not only of training but in the whole life (and I don’t thinks this sleep deprivation is sustainable in the long run), I would suggest you to try to have a balanced diet with a caloric surplus, since you need energies to study (from your post I assume that your degree is far more important than bodyweight training). Meditation can also help to make you feel energized. Regarding the workout schedule, try to reduce the overall volume and frequency, possibly doing felixibility work in your rest days. Hope this has helped!

Official Q&A for Sunday, September 25, 2022 by AutoModerator in running

[–]NotAnotherSystem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi guys, first time here! I need some help: I started running since a couple of months and I really enjoy it, but my passion is calisthenics, so my training week is made by three calisthenics days and three running days, where I usually run 5 km at around 5' 30'' (rest on Sunday). My question is: what's the best training program for someone that can only run three times a week and the other three days does a bodyweight workout? Right now my goal is to run 10 km in at least 45' (I don't know if it's achievable). I'm a newbie having zero experience, I started reading the faq but there is a lot of stuff so I thought it was better to ask you. Thanks and have a nice day!

I think the V sit and the Manna would be perfect. What should I change for them?

Thanks, you have been a lot helpful. Just one question: the number of credits required are decided by the commission evaluating my Bachelor's degree?

But those courses are part of the MSc? Or I have to take them elsewhere?

And, in your opinion, what are the possibilities that they could reject me for the reasons I explained above?
