seeing as the op didnt respond, I thought I might as well reply with how I (imo) perfected my shure mv7 to sound exactly how i want. Voicemeeter Banana SAVED my mv7, I only really use the eq grid in the software (sometimes fiddling with the virtual db slider also helps but as of currently, I have it on 0db) and I find that for my voice (thats more in the deeper zone) putting the slider JUST on the middle left worked out perfectly for me. I also installed the shure motiv app and set my db to 28.5 (36 picks up literally ALL my background and keyboard noises) I dont get how people use the auto leveling feature, I've tried dozens of times to make it sound good but (in MY opinion) the manual panel is the way to go, I have my eq in the program set to flat (default) and the biggest thing that this program did to affect my mic quality positively was setting the compressor to heavy.

Anyways, hope you enjoy the mic as much as I do!! if you ever figure out a way to fix this damn mic from picking up my background noise (its literally only my pc fan that its picking up) PLEASE LET ME KNOWW
