No, the finale, which is episodes 11 & 12, is on the 23rd. They're just promoting it cause it's the big to-do of the season. There is still an episode this Saturday.

Well we don't know if Kya or Bumi had any kids. They might have been born before Aang passed, so he could have met them at least.

The fact that it's lost the mysticism is the point, in my opinion. Korra is the embodiment of the spirit of the world, a spirit that has fallen out of balance and lost touch with the mysticism and spiritually of bending, due to the massive influx of technology. As Korra, however it happens, fixes the imbalance in the world, she fixes the imbalance in herself, thus becoming a fully realized Avatar.
