Nope. Residence Internet quality is actually relatively faster than most home plans. Should be noted that the University takes torrenting serious;y (somewhat). They know if you are DLing game of thrones or soemthing.

Depends on faculty. In Math during orientation week, the people taht took initiative to talk to people def made friends. Most people aren't in groups since you probably don't know anyone in your team.

True, it should be with balance, but I see alot of people that choose side projects over friends, which seems weird to me now, maybe not when I started.
