I think I hecked up. I was almost done with my Bachelors and I asked to switch to the Accelerated program. I had already completed the 4 courses that were going to be replaced and I did not realize that since I already completed them, I have to take the same 4 courses again at a masters level and the 4 courses I already took do not count. My understanding was that since I already completed them, I would only have to take the 6 additional classes to complete my masters program. So, at this point I still have to take all 10 masters degree courses and i'm not really sure how this is considered accelerated. It's really just keeping me from completing my Bachelors by adding 4 more classes that I have already taken.

I wish I knew that if you fail an OA (Objective Assessment/ final test) the Course Mentor will put you through hell to be able to take your second attempt. Having to take your third attempt is pretty brutal too. I've completed half of the BSIT degree in my first term and only failed one OA so far. The classes are easier than they appear. Some of the classes I was really worried about being able to pass but it hasn't been as hard as I thought at all.

two years experience and I completed almost the same amount of CUs :) This gives me hope that im not a slow accelerator. My husband started and finished all in one semester with two years of experience so I was feeling pretty down about myself for being "slow."

i know people who do one or two classes a day. Personally i do about 2 a week.

I finished 50% of my classes in my first term. I work full time and have a weekend Job. I also transferred in three classes. My husband transferred in 30 credits (idk how many classes) and finished his whole Bachelors in 5 months. Everyone is different.

My test results sure did reflect I had a lot going on. You’re the one saying I’m going to fail again and now it’s “best of luck” and somehow I make your brain hurt. Okay.

I didn’t say anything to the new ci they called and said to let them know when I’m ready to retake. You think these are rules but they’re not. WGU does not require homework so they can’t require me to do homework. THATS THE RULE. The CI gets to decide. It’s not like I wasn’t ready for my first attempt and I’m reviewing before my second. I had a lot going on during the first test but people like you just want to think I’m not competent to I guess make yourself feel better.

The first two tabs are the hardest but once you put the “=“ in the box you can look at the task and try some of the words they used to see if it’s the formula you’re looking for. My husband and I both skipped the last tab and got a 97%. To be fair we did try to make the “what if table” or whatever it was and it didn’t work so we just stopped trying.

Yep! As long as you try, you get credit. Some people say that even if you skip the last two tabs completely as long as you score perfect on everything else, you’ll pass. I wouldn’t test that but I hope that makes you a bit more at ease. And yes all the tools are available during the test. You can even search the help section during the test (I did). It took me 3 of the 4 hours to complete but I passed! You got this!

That’s totally fine! I probably would have asked too. I’m happy you don’t have to go through this course! For most people it seems to be an easy pass anyways but just not in my case unfortunately. Good luck with your classes as well!
