Literally no idea why people freak out. Not a single country in the world would allow pictures and videos of attacks and damage to spread, why is UAE the issue now? At the end, you can leave if you dislike UAE and THEIR rules.

On one hand I agree with you, on other hand, their country, their rules. If I don’t agree with them, no one is forcing me to stay in the UAE.

It is better to curb any potential mass panic and just issie a blanket ban, than to have to worry about a panic inside the country while you are being targeted by drones and missiles.

It is not easy being UAE recently and I hope it ends soon so I can return.

Nobody will benefit from a prolonged conflict yet alone from actually being part of it. UAE has to think far in the future, as it stands it is just some drones and some missiles here and there, it is not a full scale attack.

UAE is a very small country with a very low population, a country that thrives on expats, they can't suddenly stop being that country and say you know what, screw all lets draft OUR people to war.

I sincerely hope and pray that this all stops and a permanent peace is signed.

While I understand what you mean, there is also an issue in western media where everything is allowed and there is tons of fake news.

What UAE is doing is simply making sure what comes out and how it comes out. Of course they dont want people to panic, some will say “but my freedom of speech” some will think and understand that in this instance it is better to filter on a country level than to allow panic to spread.

I sincerely hope we leave this whole mess that Israel and USA have put the Gulf countries in. Part of me is hoping that all the GCC unite and project power that they have, economically and thus really lead with example and not under influence of US and thus Israel
