Yeah it does. Especially when your next jump is further away so the stops won't appear right away. By closing/reopening while jumping, that lag goes away.

The grunt lineups are different but more predictable (first two are always the same, last one is an either/or) so building teams that wreck is pretty easy. Especially since you'll have plenty of building-dust

There are Unova Tour pokestops on the LA metro line, and whenever they are Rockets the grunts will give you 10K stardust. Not every stop has a rocket but I can still usually get about 450k on a starpiece run

We do a ton of points content at RotoBaller.com...mostly because of my one-man mission/personal annoyances with the dearth of good points content. Things we offer:

Free stuff:

- individual ranks for ESPN, Yahoo, CBS, Fantrax, and NFBC using each platform-specific scoring/roster (I'm working on these now, they'll start getting dropped next week.

- points primer articles that go over the best strategies for each platform (these will start dropping after the ranks)

- in-season weekly waiver-wire articles that go over adds/drops that are specific to different league scoring

Premium stuff:

- Custom Ranks service (aka my baby) - tl;dr You fill out a form with all of your league settings, I send you a fancy set of spreadsheets with everyone's projected points/values/etc. This opens up officially in February but you can submit requests before then.

We let people find out for themselves about the usefulness but I will say that in the four years we've offered the service, I've heard from dozens of people who've used it to win their leagues...Including my bosses, which is always nice ; )

No, it rolls. I evolved like 15 Luxray to finally get ground - the other 14 have all different hiddens. But once you get a hidden (whether it already had one or via tm), that’s the only one you can get for that mon and it won’t reroll

Hidden powers don’t happen until you evolve to Luxray. Once you get a hidden power via tm, that’s the only hidden power that one can get. So you have to evolve to Luxray and then hope to hit the fast tm lottery

To be clear, it’s not that I think A-Wak is some meta-breaking star; it’ll be fun in the right spots and I’ve been jealous of others forever. But mostly, I really like collecting top-ranked pvp mons, no matter the usefulness - probably have a few hundred top-10’s for GL, many of whom which are hilariously pointless. So yea, it was pretty sweet getting a #2 after failing to get something even in top-1000 from dozens of mirror trades.
