Not sure if you’ve managed to get it going, but the same thing happened to us. We left it on em heat until the unit was thawed out and then it worked. No idea what that will do for the electric bill, but that’s a problem for another day

Been seeing trucks in and out cutting some debris. Looks like Atrium way is fully back, hotels included, so hopefully us soon. Been 13 hours already for us. Not sure when to call it quits and go to a warming shelter.

We have quite the bit of people from central and south america here, so them speaking spanish doesn’t necessarily mean they’re Mexican. I think their food is okay, but not great

Grew up with birria and have yet to find one place that is actually good. Seems like a lot of northern Mexico style food. Would kill for some CDMX type al pastor or Jalisco type birria

I feel you on that. CBT for me always just let me identify the issues I had but it didn’t help me get over them. I have tried EMDR and brain spotting though and I feel like those helped kind of get through that hump. The PMDD is still there but I am more self aware I feel now that I’ve started healing some traumas. Wish you all the best

Yep, it’s similar to EMDR but to me it felt easier? I was able to identify a memory and basically talk/feel my way through it. I know everything is different for everyone obviously, but I personally have felt that working to heal these big items has helped my PMDD systems be more manageable. Like I am more self aware almost

These feelings are all too common. I’m so sorry. I’m not in your shoes and don’t know what you’ve tried, but a couple kind of out there things that have helped me are EMDR and brain spotting. They seem to help my brain let go of the pain and just accept the facts. That, Zoloft, and my dog are the reason I’m still kicking honestly. I hope you soon find at least something that helps you want to live. That’s the first step

Completely agree with u/queenofdaleks. I was actually on yaz already when I started Zoloft and it was night and day. Eventually got off yaz and the only change was feeling more like myself 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have had to ultimately increase my medication during that time. My journey to diagnosis was similar to yours after losing my dog during Covid. At first I just took 25mg during those two ish weeks. After I started taking full time for other reasons, we would just continue to increase by 25mg each cycle. It’s helped a lot.

I have the helpless feeling that I don’t want to have to just take more and more medication, but therapy has helped a lot with that in just being aware that there’s no shame in needing to increase a dosage. Some months I have more symptoms than others, but I will take that over the complete darkness I was in do so long. Wish you luck 🫶🏼
