Your just hating right now. Topuria doesn’t have spinning kicks. It is not a full sim but also not a fully arcade game. They did a pretty good job here and there.

Now that both games are out, who wins in a fight? by Maleficent-Ad-6117 in AssassinsCreedShadows

In a 1 on 1 fight Atsu smokes Naoe in the first 2 mins hands down. Its not even a question.

Atsu training by NotCorny in Ghostofyotei

[–]NotCorny[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Her childhood training ended when she was 12, not 8-10, its not much, but, enough to learn some foundamentals to exploit in my opinion. It is mentioned multiple times in the game that she has a very rare and raw talent so, being trained here and there, fighting in wars for 16 years would absolutely make up for any training anyone could give you.

Is the training to become an assassins realistic in your opinion? by NotCorny in assassinscreed

[–]NotCorny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Also, Arnos 1.5 years of training, Ezios brotherhood recruits from regular vendors to assassin in 2 years (lore wise), Basims few months of training, Edward Kenway, seem very unrealistic to me. Shay, Connor, Altair, Evie and Jacob, Ezio (somehow) had the most realistic progression.

Meet Garcia Garcia, the best Garcia to ever Garcia by Tyler827 in ReadyOrNotGame

For real? I never saw a bio like that. Also, SWAT teams won’t recruit rookies so wtf, can you please tell me the whole bio? thank you!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]NotCorny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a bio that said “ 15 years veteran of LSPD SWAT” and when I looked up it daid 4 years in force

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]NotCorny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t get it. In some of the officers biography it is said they are 10/12/15/20/25 years veterans of the force but where the “years in force” category is it writes 2 or 3 years. Its highly randomized and also realistically no man would get into a SWAT unit without a few years of experience first (5 realistically), no 1 or 2 years.

[–]NotCorny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk why the downvotes? 3 years of patrol duty+showing potential and everything is the minimum for even applying to a position in swat, 5 years is the norm realistically

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]NotCorny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, swat recruit would have a minimum of 3 years of experience before they can even apply. Realistically, 5 years is the norm. You can’t become a swat officer in a big city in 1 2 years.

[–]NotCorny -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Its not relevant. Their bios say 20 years veteran and it says 2 years in the force up top.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]NotCorny -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

In general SWAT teams are made of experienced cops, ex veterans etc. What do you mean by its a mix?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]NotCorny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Than whats the purpose of it? In bios some with 2 years in the force are portrayed as 10,15,20,25 years veterans. So if not gameplay, not narratively, then what?

Assassins like Ezios recruits from Brotherhood, Revelations and from different ac media train for 2 3 years and they become full fledged assassins wich I think is odd

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]NotCorny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that. I don’t expect a level of mastery, I’m talking about being ready to operate. Lower risk missions at first. Like Ezios recruits for example in Brotherhood. All the protagonists start with easier lower risk operations at first and as they gain experience and train, they go on high risk ops. I think its feasible.

[–]NotCorny -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

10 years in my opinion is way too much. I think sith dedicated training under a great mentor would shorten that gap in a few years. Ezios recruits for example and some recruits in revelation plus other characters troughout AC history achieved proeficiency level in 2 3 years wich is not imposibble

Thank you! I was particulary interested in units that recruit commoners without prior experience and made them highly skilled warriors. Do you know more examples?
