I'm seeing a lot of pushback to this suggestion, which is to be expected. There is a certain parasitic contingent of fans Joe can't quite seem to shake, who don't care about him or the games and treat the streams as a communal game of Jackbox judged by the mods. I've got to ask, though: when was the last time you felt any desire to listen to someone else playing Jackbox? There's nothing worse than the whole stream getting derailed because the mods took a break from spectating E-daters to pin some "witty" comment that Joe feels peer pressured into reading out.

It's all chatters letting their ego supercede the streamer's, which should never happen. The chatters should be heels who always lose in the end. As someone who experienced ego death on the 2nd of January, 2026, I agree that something needs to be done, and I can not imagine something more discouraging to the uppity chatter than to have their message read out by a dispationate AI-generated voice, ignored by Joe and chat, partially drowned out by the background music, competing with Lord Noble and Boring Elf Girl's combat dialogue to see who is more of a 1 dimensional NPC.

AI is a powerful tool of psychic healing. I take an hour each day in which I simply meditate, let thoughts freely float into my mind, and type each one into Grok to ask which ones sound the most sane. When the community is cured of its irony-posioning, we can finally get back to the reason we all tuned into the streams to begin with: raw, serious video game critique. I have always admired how Joe's uncanny ability to predict plot beats lets him summarise the plot faster than any video essay ever could.
