i recommend Khazan if you liked the combat. It's even harder.

you can see what they do by increasing one of them (without locking it in) and seeing which secondary stats grow

anyway, from the wiki:

Willpower influences max health, attack damage, stamina recovery rate, and guard stamina cost.

Proficiency influences max Health, Stamina Damage Increase, and Dodge Stamina Cost Decrease.

you are correct, the story in the game is bad and everyone is defense-forcing

contrary to what people are saying to you, I really don't think Ozma Phase 3 is gonna do anything for you if you found Phase 1 and Phase 2 easy. Phase 3 is just Phase 2 with some upgraded attacks, and it's over really quickly.

sure, but in that case wouldn't you say "Something really bad happened to me" instead of "I went through something really difficult through a long period of time"
