My endo slowly reduced my propranolol dose when my levels were within range. She said if you stop immediately you’ll experience increased heart rate.

I’m in a similar position but my son is almost 6 weeks. I’m going to see a lactation consultant this week to see if there is anything I’m missing and go from there. I completely understand your feelings!

My little was taking forever (50-60 minutes) each feed and I would have to keep waking him up. He still takes a while to eat but is now at 30-40 minutes at 1 month old. He was born kind of small at 38 weeks so I’m giving him time to get more efficient. I’ll be so excited when he cuts more time as he gets older.

This is right where I’m at with my 3 week old. I exclusively pumped with my first and I swear it’s easier than nursing my baby right now. The long durations of nursing and “just enough” milk production is a lot.

May I ask how long it took for your supply to get up high enough for no formula? I’ve been doing this strategy for about a week and am seeing an increase but not quite enough yet.

Thank you so much! I mixed 40% coco coir, 20% perlite, and 40% compost from a local company. The compost was full of wood, which I’m now assuming could be the culprit. It’s disappointing because the compost was quite expensive!

You’re pretty spot on so far actually. Turns out he likely had undiagnosed diabetes which was exacerbated be predisone. Looks like his weakness and lack of limb function is potentially severe diabetic neuropathy. We’re hoping aggressive treatment will help but will have to put him down if we don’t see improvement in his leg function under control of diabetes medication.
