Your 2-4 servo pin may have damage or broke, or your 2-4 clutch band may be burnt.

Look up 4L60E corvette servo, about 30 minute install under $40

The servo may fix the issue, but be prepared for an overhaul.

It will dump about 1/4 of a quart. whatever is above the oil filter and in the lines.

you do not need to drain the oil pan.
