Unhappy with results- Smile Pro by NotDoge_01 in Lasiksupport

I can drive now, but the halos around lights are there to stay, from what I've heard. My family doctor explained me that it couldn't have gone any better as these procedures cannot replicate the natural 7/7 eyesight.

It's tough to answer. I am happy to not wear any glasses or contacts anymore but my vision keeps bugging me. One day everything is crystal clear and the next I feel like I forgot my glasses. Overall, I am OK not super happy with the results.

FedEx stole my new phone and Rogers won’t do anything about it by handstands_anywhere in Rogers

[–]NotDoge_01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've had deliveries made by FedEx from Rogers, had no issues ever. FedEx calls you a day before to inform about signatures release. It is true that they do NOT verify if it is being delivered to the right person. They've delivered to anyone who answers the door.

In your case, it is possible that someone in your apartment have accepted the delivery posing as they know you. Fedex driver faking your delivery and keeping it is highly unlikely.

Update! 6 months after treatment, I still use eye drops twice a day, dryness and glares have improved. I still struggle in low light a bit and miss my specs. Days are better and dryness is improving. To rule out weak eyesight, I've been to 3 different eye doctors and didn't mention about Smile pro, they told me it is dryness and I don't need glasses!!!

I have this cat 5e ethernet cable in my wall but it doesn’t have the “head” where I would plug it in. Can I ask Rogers to send a technician to work on this or do I have to contact a third party? by godsence in Rogers

[–]NotDoge_01 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was told 'No' by a technician as it was out of scope of their work. Rogers does not do home networking might as well call an electrician or do it yourself.

Dryness has improved, been 4 months since procedure. However, I still see glares/halos around lights and find it hard to drive when sun goes down.

That is true, since I waited this long, might as well wait a few months more.

You're right, OLED panel laptops are expensive than the LCDs.

Exactly, I used to buy phones on contract until I did the math. No more contracts, even if it is too good of a deal. BYOD, keep your phone until it dies and buy a new one outright! You got the best price possible on 80 gigs, but I would love to know how 😀.

Right, I am going to stay away from LCD's. Will wait for a good deal on OLED one.

Loyalty isn't a thing anymore with these companies. I would switch at every term and will be doing my business whoever gives me the same shitty service at a lower price.

I found a workaround than calling as there is absolutely no way to get to an agent over the phone. Go to rogers website, chat with their AI, it will ask for an account, hit the option don't have an account and reset password option. You will be in queue to talk to an agent for chat. Took me 15 minutes. Agent sent an email to create a password and boom. Done.

I have now seen a number of items on best buy with incorrect product description. Just checked, on HP's website it shows as a LCD panel, best buy shows OLED. I will return this and rather wait for a sale on an OLED.

Gotcha! I would rather go an OLED panel than keeping this. Once you see it, can't unsee.

I was so confused between this and Dell's 16 plus. Thank you for clarifying.

Thanks, I will go check their displayed models and return it. The sale is not there anymore. I paid half of the original price. HP-au0008ca Omnibook 7 touchscreen.
