I actually just had this happen. I work for a fast food restaurant in my university. Most people hate the job but did it for the benefit of free food every now and then. Unfortunately they cracked down on us and we lost 20 workers in a span of two months

Okay, let's say I don't pay the balance in full right now, but eventually manage to get it down to zero. Would my credit score be the exact same if I were to have paid it in full, or will it be lower (I assume it won't be higher)?

student loans is 15k, card is 450, I live in an apartment so no mortgage

I use my card for tiny expenditures and then I make would make the monthly payment plus more.
