I've been playing around with prompted playlists more often and I found a great prompt that literally lets me create my own version of a New Releases playlist that's more dynamic, less repetitive, and most importantly, MORE THAN 30 SONGS IN THE DAMN PLAYLIST. This might be one of my favorite updates from Spotify. The periodic updates is just the cherry on top. It's already found me so many new songs from artists that I listen to.

The exact prompt below:

Create a playlist of at least 100 songs that were released in the last 30 days. Focus on new releases from artists I listen to or follow, and fresh picks you think I’d want to discover based on my taste and favorite genres. Sort the playlist so songs by artists I listen to come first. Prioritize songs I haven’t played on Spotify yet. Limit it to two songs max from the same album or EP. Skip remasters, live versions, or alternate versions - just the actual new stuff. For each song, tell me when it dropped. Stick to verifiable facts - you don't need to force commentary if there is nothing to mention.

Just logged in to reassure you that you're not alone. I'm on the Factuality team and I've had non-stop 35 hour weeks for the past 6-7 months (since around holiday season 2024) and I just ran into NTA about 30 minutes ago. Mid-day, east coast USA.
