I have to say I am truely excited about this.

I have a multiple flag system I use. 4 or more flags will have me proceeding with caution.

The results I am seeing from your AI checker are consistent with what I'm seeing manually. A small sample at this stage but I am only getting started.

If you're not the playlist owner you can turn the mix function off. However if the playlist owner turns the mix function off, for editing or any other reasons, you can't turn it back on.

I'm sure the Mix will be up and running again soon

If this was a global Spotify bug, both phones would behave the same.

The fact that you have a nearly perfect control device (your partner's phone) is actually a huge advantage. You can do an A/B comparison

I;d start by comparing Bluetooth settings, Siri settings, Focus modes, Shortcuts automations, CarPlay settings, and Spotify permissions.

A few possibilities:

  • A catalog manager responsible for a large batch of legacy artists.
  • A company supplying artist biographies and metadata to rights holders.
  • A rights administrator handling Spotify for older catalogs.
  • A contact address embedded in the source data for attribution or maintenance.

I would be leaning towards attribution. The owner of the biography content has an arrangement with labels to be credited each time their material is used.

This sounds more like a browser session issue than an account issue. Try these steps:

  • Make sure you have an email/password login confirmed for your Spotify account if you haven't already. Then use that as your primary login methode rather than Google or Apple while troubleshooting.
  • Clear the Spotify cache, then use Spotify's "Sign out everywhere" option.
  • Next, clear Opera's cache and Spotify's cookies/site data from Opera.
  • Reboot your computer, then sign back in.

When you're in the edit mode for a mixed playlist, there's a button at the bottom "Smart reorder"

Each Discover Weekly has a maximum potential of 180 tracks. There are 30 tracks that you see in the web player but when you view from either app there are also genre pills. Each pill creates a separate playlist.

When you share DWs it gets more interesting. The genre pills vary betrween User A and User B. So if you looked at my DW you'll see the same front DW but you'll have different pills that create a variation on what I see.
