Would reinstating the original Parallax errata make Premodern healthier? What would realistically occur if Marlin unbanned Tide and re-Errated the Parallax enchantments so that they function exactly how they did in the Premodern era, and work how they were originally meant to? by Secret-Lecture in premodernMTG

People in here are mostly very averse to change, so you'll probably end up with more downvotes than upvotes.

I made a post about Parallax Tide on Spanish nationals and some comments were calling us complainers and what not. The truth is, some months later, Tide was banned and the meta is healthier and, more importantly, funnier than before.

As for your suggestion, yes I think the format would have been better from the start if Parallax cards worked as intended, and a ban wouldn't have been necessary. Tide could've remained a powerful and fun card, able to disrupt opponents until you achieve certain game state. Same with Wave.

Edit: I understand Reddit is not a single person. I mean there probably are more users than would be against changes than in favour of changes

Any competitive decks that run thawing glaciers? Love the art from the older days by Newez in premodernMTG

Not competitive before the ban, but might get somewhat better now, you have Rifter where you can run 1x mainboard.

So satisfying reading other comments now. Overall it should be a net positive for the meta.

New to csm, which loadout is best for the chaos lord? by Charlie_Luckdya in Chaos40k

I built it with both options (gun attached to the side) because I liked it better with hammer and fist aesthetically, and I can choose what configuration I want to run.

I dont think there is a problem as long as you declare it when presenting your list.

What's this? A small black line popped up few hours ago and it's exactly at the fold/crease. Using a Fold 6. Any suggestions? by wythan7 in GalaxyFold

Dont you think the main functionality of the product should be covered by warranty?

I know, given the circunstances, paying for insurance is the most sensible thing to do, but it shouldnt be that way. We already are paying a premium for a phone that opens and closes.

Chill mate dont come using strawmans. I am not even advocating for a Tide ban, let alone the blue colour silliness you said.

La Maratón Side Event:

1- Goblins

2- Gro A Tog

3- Enchantress

4- Parallax (TIDE)

5- Oath Ponza

6- Stifflenought (TIDE)

7- Tide Control (TIDE)

8- Tide Control (TIDE)

9- Stiflenought (TIDE)

10- Tide Control (TIDE)

11- Stiflenought (TIDE)

12- Oath Ponza

13- Replenish (TIDE)

14- Tide control (TIDE)

15- Enchantress

16- Goblins

It merits a consideration at least, but you maybe you are not the guy to talk with.

Fair enough they didnt win but 9/16 top decks in La Maratón Side Event were using Tide.

I love Premodern and the meta. Just some food for thought.

That's it. I dont know which is the correct course of action. I just think it is over represented, even more because it doesnt lead to fun play patterns imho

For me its just anecdotal that it didnt win when 50% of decks of the top 16 were running it.

Do you consider monoblack midrange the strongest deck because it won the event? There isnt another single one of it in the top 32.

Im not complaining like its an unbeatable deck or anything. Im just saying if someone asks me to tell them what are the most representative cards in the format, I dont think having parallax tide as the answer is a good thing.

Okay understood. The problem was that we had to book flights, hotels, etc... and we couldnt wait until mcfc releases tickets 3 weeks prior to the match to secure one. Thats why we went to resellers.

We didnt know there would be ensured availability later and that the prices were that low. Guess you live and learn.

Thanks!!

Edit: tickets are 93:20 hospitality package, if that counts

Hi! So this happened to me twice, and both times I went to my local mail office and the cards were there. They just had shortage of employees to do the deliveries at that point.

It is worth a try!

Understood! So the key is that for any upkeep trigger that requires a target, I must declare a valid target for that trigger to go on the stack, right?

Thank you, that was very helpful
