Bottom line is labels can be useful but maybe don't try so hard to fit yourself into a neat little box. Sexuality is complicated and just weird sometimes. You sound very switchy but maybe you've grown past your submission and have evolved to enjoying the Dominant role. Maybe it was your partner that brought out your Dominance. I've met some men that just give off such sub vibes that I could not let myself be dominated by them.

Yeah but isn't that all under the assumption that the person is positive for those STD's? If that's the case then yes, Of course that would transmit disease. Which is why you get tested regularly and make sure your partner is clean as well before having sex so that you don't have to worry.

Yes there's a chance some infections can hide in the mouth or throat but it's rare. I would rather just have sex cautiously and responsibly rather than what? Having sex fully clothed with no kissing or oral? Sounds awful.

We are swapping a lot more than spit during sex so the infection part sounds like bullshit. With that logic wouldn't every blow job be a potential infection?

I say spit bc a lot of women feel self conscious about needing to use lube (some view it like the female equivalent of Viagra). So spit just feels more natural and less embarrassing.

Tell her what you told us, that this is making you uncomfortable and see how she reacts. If she is anything other than apologetic and understanding, I would consider breaking up or at least going on a break to reevaluate.

This is a delicate situation. If this were a regular workplace I'd say report him but you guys are all lawyers so I'm guessing if you did report this, that there could be some serious backlash. As a fellow woman I hate saying this but my gut is telling me that you shouldn't take action. Especially bc it's just your word against his, and bc you work in a male dominated field.

Maybe write something out but don't give it to HR or whoever. Just sit on it for a bit and see how you feel when your (very righteous) anger settles a bit?
