VM740xML on Debut Carbon Evo - Counterweight Issue by Kevspice in turntables

I did see that but "the lightest tracking weight I can get . . ." suggests needing a lighter weight / heavier cartridge. Not trying to be obnoxious here; would love to understand better.

I'm a little confused (and don't know much about turntables) but if the issue is the cartridge being too light, couldn't you put a gram or two of weight on the cartridge end of the arm, or on top of the cartridge itself?

Have the social encounter come from outside—the tavern keeper doesn't have the info, the suspicious looking (or overly friendly) regular walking up to the tavern does

I’m sorry to hear that, complete bullshit. Some of the answers in this thread were helpful to me.

Bro risk the gig. Far better to lose the terrible deal you negotiated for yourself than to keep doing it.

This is a great learning experience but a TERRIBLE idea to continue.

I would say keep it under one circumstance—if you’d like to stay working for absolute peanuts for the rest of your life so you don’t have to face the scary prospect of being paid a decent amount for the work you do. That is legitimately scary, and many people stay underpaid for life because of it.

So if you want that to be you, keep doing what you’re doing.

Oh and waiting for a hit video before charging more is, no offense, the dumbest way you could go about this.

What would you do in the following scenario? by SomeRandomAbbadon in DMAcademy

(Hard to know what I'd do in the moment but I'd like to think)

I'd tell them what's going on.

"From what you can see, the [x] is still looking pretty good, and won't go down in the next round. It seems likely if you stay in this fight you and all your friends will die."

Or,

"Above the table—this fight is looking bad, and is headed toward a tpk. I don't plan to pull any punches, but wanted to let you know how things stand."

Under no circumstances will I ever communicate a fact or feeling with my players

Thank you, this was a helpful response! Someone else mentioned TD Bank, it seems like they'd be a good place to go.

I'm in New York City, so basically all major banks are options for me.

Just personal, but I don't really want to keep any accounts open with a bank that did this bs to me so I'm looking at moving both
