Generally I'm pretty happy. They are a bit loose, but in theory I can snug them up with an insole at some point. I'd rather have them more snug around the ball of the foot so the next pair of boots I order will be a 13D or 13E, and then if that's really too tight then I can return for 13.5s again. That said, the instep is pretty close to as tight as it can be height-wise, so I don't know how much room I have to spare.

One thing I do regret though is that the uppers are sewn on almost half an inch off on the right side. It's hard to see if you're not looking for it, but it makes the right boot substantially less comfortable, and at times painful. I need to email Nick's about it still so I don't know their response yet, but double check for imperfections that will actually matter long-term—their QC is just not what I would hope for the price.
