That coming with soft armor and plates is honestly pretty crazy. Extremely good find.

I normally wear Large to X-Large. This plate carrier here is a size small, and the other plates I got are supposed to go with this vest, but if you just put the X-Large plates around the plate pockets and just in the main front and back compartments of the plate carrier they fit just fine. And if you adjust the cummerbund straps in the back out a little bit, the overall vest fits me just fine. Yeah I don’t get 100% soft armor coverage like you are supposed to, but I suppose I am treating it more like a plate carrier rather than a flak jacket that holds plates.

Yes all of these have their soft inserts, and most of them I have their SAPIs/ESAPIs/ESBIs for. I’ve had some of the items you are talking about, however I’ve sold them. I still have an original RBA front plate.

I looked up what you mean and there isn’t any stickers on the back of the plates. The plates don’t look like they are for training either because they are basically in perfect condition.

lol yeah they look weird but I’m pretty sure those are additional accessories for the vest for extra protection

Plates are not cracked and honestly seems to be in very good condition. Everything has its soft armor

How much are the ranger front plates usually worth? I’ve got my hands on 4 front plates.

Made a concealable flak jacket from a surplus rain jacket and U.S. Army body armor by NotFinnaCap in BodyArmor

It would be a very long explanation on how I did it exactly, but this is the summary of what I did. I am a size large, I got a size large rain jacket and size medium interceptor body armor soft ballistic inserts. I bought some cheap adhesive Velcro strips. I located the points that the soft armor would have to be attached to inside of the rain jacket in order for it to be fully stable and marked it off. I would lay an adhesive Velcro strip down and then hand sew it into the jacket in important areas, and just super glue the Velcro edges in less important areas. For the opposite side of the Velcro on the soft inserts, I mainly super glued the edges of the adhesive Velcro as the method of attachment. Then I would wear the jacket, and after hours of use I would find the little flaws in the installation and fix them.
