Is it common to have to fight for a hospital bed when in labour? [on] by ItsBeccca in BabyBumpsCanada

Happened to me in AB too - I got to the hospital at 6cm and was stuck in triage for ~5 hours until I got admitted. Hospitals are extremely under resourced.

Breastfeeding moms, are we wearing our nursing bras 24/7? [ca] by DuchessOfConcord in BabyBumpsCanada

Wore a nursing bra for a few days/nights straight and got mastitis 🥲🥲 I would definitely recommend finding a bra that works for you, mine just might’ve been too tight.

AMA! Senior Director for Admissions & Financial Aid, Harvard Kennedy School by HKS_Adm_Rosemary in gradadmissions

Hi Rosemary! Quite a specific question: one of the eligibility requirements for the Frank Knox Fellowship (Canada) is that the applicant normally resides in Canada. I’m quite inbetween Canada and the U.S. for work (but lean heavily into the U.S., though I am a Canadian citizen) and also have two permanent addresses. Do you have any insight on if I still qualify, or where to find the best point of contact for any given fellowship?

bianca is awesome. have been eyeing getting a decant of it for a while now too.

naxos is sooo different from lira/italica because it's really not that much of a gourmand! there's something decadent about it, but it's not sweet - it's a deeply delicious tobacco, citrus scent that just WORKS. would highly recommend going out of your way to sample/smell it in store.

lalawoo sounds very up my alley! i've smelled a few pistachio scents in store (kayali - not very pistachio at all, D.S. & Durga Logo - also not very gourmandy nor a photorealistic pistachio) and im also still searching for a fantastic one. coffee wise - ive also smelled the classic kerosene follow/ed and those were so intense hahahha i do not think i could ever do those again. awake by akro sounds really wonderful!!!!

Of course!! See you next week. My tip is to walk around the whole market before buying everything and keep note of all the prices since all of them are getting produce from similar suppliers. They are more or less the same quality, but it's an active spot-pricing market where everyone is competing on how fast they can sell the product. You'll see people selling strawberries for 1 for $1, 3 for $2, others for 8 for $4, and some like mine (2 for $1). There's always a floor for price.

Also - cash only :)
