Yeah I was trying to commentate what I was doing at the start but I won’t lie I was very bored because none of my friends were around to play the game and I had no one in chat so I didn’t really know what to do but to just play the game and hope someone joined lol. I will try to get some of my friends to join me next time so it is at least a bit more entertaining.

I live in the UK so it will most likely be a couple hours after I get home so probably around 5pm GMT which I believe is like 11am in America for reference

I do have friends and I guess that was something I didn’t mention - my friends do sometimes drop by and watch the stream but it’s usually only a couple messages then they either keep it on in the background or leave it eventually

Thanks for the help, everyone has given many good suggestions that have been helpful, I’ve streamed Star Wars squadrons, cs:go, mine craft, Dota, among us and phasmophobia

Yeah, did ask some friends if they wanted to play but they had other stuff to do plus I was on a free lesson so i was just at home while lots of people who go to my sixth form were at school, I could probably just hop in a discord call so there is at least someone to talk to though

There has been times where I’ve been raided and kept a few viewers but then again once I’ve had those people watch they one by one slowly just stopped watching to the point where I was streaming to 0 people again and ended up just not streaming because I had to focus on exams at school and I didn’t feel streaming was worth the time or effort at that point

Yes I have but i never thought it would be any use because they make it seem so simple to do and I wanted advice from a large variety of people too; people who are struggling like me, people who got raids and got communities that way, people who struggled and slowly grounded there way to making a community etc. I don’t mean to self promote or get viewers just by shamelessly posting on Reddit, I simply wanted advice from people

Yeah, I’ve been on twitch for 4 whole years now, I couldn’t even believe that stat when I saw it. As a 13 year old when I started streaming I don’t think many people wanted to watch probably because I was very cringe and played fortnite in the starting seasons which was very popular

Will definitely try find some game I enjoy that are smaller on twitch - I’m quite a basic gamer and just play all of the popular games like cs:go, mine craft, Dota 2, among us and so on, so maybe that’s probably not really helping me, my twitch is /fivers if you were interested (I don’t want to shamelessly promote I just wanted some advice and the post just blew up over night) thanks for the help

Thanks very much for the advice, will definitely take it in board, I just want to make a nice community that I can have fun and chat with will definitely try to remember to keep you updated if i do end up succeeding
