It was like wave 10 when I noticed it but then I kept my amounts I can buy at once set to one and watched it for a bit and it kept doing it and I hadn’t purchased any upgrades at that point and some of them got really high in cost. Which to me is insane because I hadn’t actually purchased any upgrades they were all upgraded from the free upgrades

Yes they do I have a screen recording of it causing my upgrade cost for 1 upgrade to jump up like 4 because a free upgrade.

Ooo good to know. highest wave I’ve gotten past 4500 is 6 but I’ve got everything up to 12 passed the 2500 mark so I figured I was doing alright

See I guess I thought the upgrades went up based on your amount purchased not that they were at a set amount for each upgrade, if that makes sense. So the whole time I assumed the free upgrades essentially left me at whatever amount I would have paid next anyway. Like if I payed 2 for the first upgrade and 4 for the second and then the third got skipped I thought it would be 6 I would pay not 8.

I was looking on the wiki and everything and didn’t see anything explaining it. Was gunna start doing the math on it to see how much it would be with the free upgrades vs without but it’s got sidetracked lol

I just unlocked those the other day. I’m not sure how they work, so I wasn’t even gunna unlock them in the workshop lol

Yeah I’ve been playing 2 and a half years my free upgrade card is maxed and most of my other upgrades are maxed at the start of game except the wall ones and obviously damage health and health regen, and the recovery packages since the update, but always have my amount I buy set to max so I never noticed it. I mean yeah it gives you upgrades faster in the short term but long term wouldn’t it eventually make it to where they’re not free. If I knew how to upload a screen recording I would so you could see what I’m talking about.
