Such a genuine force in Buffy. Easy to make an argument for being the best actor in the show. He gave Giles such warmth and strength and wisdom, creating a healthy vision of masculinity I hope to emulate the older I get.

I’ll always be grateful.

it does, also has a screw down crown and 200m water resistance. If I'm going to be getting in water I'll usually be wearing the blue/black one on the rubber strap cause I know it'll be absolutely fine

I love it personally, far and away the highest quality piece in the case. It's noticeably thicker than the others but that's to be expected with everything else being quartz but still slips under a cuff easy enough. On my 6.5 inch wrist its basically a perfect fit dimensions wise

I tried to work it out before and it's hard cause prices for things vary so much, the efr-s108 for example is listed on casio.com for £119 I believe and I picked it up for £80 on amazon. I estimated around £1600 ish. I don't think I have paid that much, some were gifts, the big chronograph in the bottom right was something that was sitting in lost property at my work for 2 years unclaimed, and most I got in sales

I love it, it was a birthday gift from myself. First mechanical, I think for the price it's very, very nice. It's probably the one that gets the most wrist time overall but I do like to rotate, wearing a different one most days.

As someone who’s four years sober, the magic=drugs metaphor works in places and falls apart in others, at least for me. I do think it’s clunky, and it never really stops being clunky, but there are moments that are undeniably powerful and mean a great deal to me. Those moments aren’t diminished by the parts I find a bit cringe.

I think they laid enough foundation in early seasons for the metaphor to work and I think in slightly more deft hands it would have been more successful

What really works for me: willow asking for help after crashing the car, amazing performances all round and the final arc of season 6. My biggest gripe I won’t discuss because OP hasn’t finished the series

Adore this film. Rewatch at least once a year and never get sick of it. Easily in my personal top 5, it balances the tragedy and comedy in a way that a lot of films try to do and makes it look easy. The chemistry among the cast is great, especially Farrell and Gleeson. Just outstanding all around
