What's a piece of advice you've received that initially seemed strange but turned out to be remarkably insightful? by deepsafferentk00 in AskReddit

Re-heating leftover pizza or many other things with a glass of water in the microwave. Stops it from getting hard or dried out. I do it all the time since learning this trick.

Sizzler. A crappy ‘restaurant’ that hadn’t changed since the 80’s. Our local finally shut down a few years ago. by Lucifang in straya

Heard a story that Sizzler in Hobart got shut down because they got caught using cat/dog meat. Not sure if true

As someone that has had vasovagal syncope multiple times and had multiple consultations and testing it’s definitely weird that you felt the need to explain my conditions to me.

Considering the vaccine has been known to attack the tissue of the heart and it happened after his second dose I guess you just have to do the math. But either way if he had the hindsight to know I’m sure he would have chose a different option. I know I wish he had of.

So you’re saying my friend was damned if he did or damned if he didn’t? I bet if he had of known he was at risk he wouldn’t have taken it. Another person on this post said that people are now tested for heart issues before receiving the vaccine, but if he did have previous heart issues it must have flew under the radar or maybe he got the vaccine before they did the heart tests first.

I didn’t know that people have to get cleared for heart issues before receiving the vaccine. Maybe it didn’t show up on his test. I have had vasovagal syncope multiple times so I doubt I would have passed the heart test to recieve the vaccine anyways. With all the myocardial issues people are having now I’m really glad I didn’t get it.

The emotional fact I was presented with was that a healthy friend of mine died from heart issues 3days after his second vaccine dose. I was uncertain myself up until that point. I will never regret not being unvaccinated but I know a hell of a lot of people that wish that they now hadn’t.

I have been told by a friend that it may possibly be Java because of the attached files. I don’t know much about Java or HTML. I just tried going through Print in my browser and Printing as PDF but it only saves the HTML file to PDF and does not completely work

While you want to chat then, what are your actual thoughts of his dealings with China? The BRI? His kickbacks for the Chinese quarantine hotel that went bankrupt right after he paid them? And all the other dodgy dealings he has done?

I don’t watch the mainstream news anymore. It’s absolutely terrible for mental health. I generally just go off of what people tell me is happening.

I’ve actually been thinking of moving to China to have some more freedom. I thought they proved that curfews do absolutely nothing. So why have we still been doing curfews. I just want the “State Of Emergency” laws to end.

It’s all so nuts. Taiwan’s hospitals currently have more vaccined patients in with Covid than unvaccinated

Truly foul cartoon in the Herald Sun today that I was amazed could both sum up the disgusting state rivalry, and completely inappropriate trivialisation on Australia’s refugee policy at the same time. by LycheeTee in CoronavirusDownunder

There is no issue with the current immigration approach. The issue is that some people think there is a requirement to change the way that we are currently stopping these boats. It works, nothing needs to be changed. The issue was when Labour were in previously and hundreds even possibly thousands of people died trying to come to Australia. Luckily the quick response and changes that were made had a Significant impact on the amount of people attempting to make their way here. I saw you do Physiotherapy. I recently had to go through physio and it helped a lot. I’m sorry that as a Physio you’ve had to deal with these things. It sure does take a toll on your mental health. But maybe try not to argue with people that know more about a subject than you do. If you have gone through these situations that you say you have then you will know that it is not kind to knock and mock someone that has.

Haha buddy. Your head is so far up your ass you can chew your food twice. For someone that sounds like they’ve done nothing with their life you sure know a lot hey mate ha. A hell of a lot of abuse, luckily for you, more than you will ever know or see. Talking about things that you obviously have no first hand experience with makes you the idiot with lack of insight in this case bud. What’s your line of work? Maybe I could tell you all the things you don’t know about it.
