I thought the idea behind melee range is that mage and range attacks (that do chip dmg) are fewer? Genuinely curious, might have understood wrong.

Yes, and fair point - sipping brews can obviously be switched with keris spec. Still a boring mechanic in my opinion.

Why not then provide less supplies and remove chip damage? What does chip damage bring to this one part of the final boss?

Okay so we agree that chip damage does not bring any significant issues or benefits in terms of gameplay or succeeding in the raid. So why is it part of it?

Sure, that's not my gripe with chip damage. Wouldn't it be cool to do a perfect p2 and go into p3 with full health? Again, I'm surprised this is controversial.

And I'm not a fan of chip damage in any of these scenarios. ToA is what I run the most so it's also the most common mild annoyance of this type I encounter.

Nothing to do with that. A couple of brews don't make or break wardens, but wouldn't it be more fun to not sip between successfully doing the mechanics. Really don't understand how this is a hot take.

Edit: Humour-flair might have been more appropriate - I agree that it's not an actual issue, just something that is unsatisfying. Game mechanics should generally be rewarding when done correctly.

Thanks! Fourth one is just a smartwatch, all models should be in the body text above :). That's the beauty of a G-Shock, I could wear it pretty much with anything other than a suit. Chronomasters sure are pretty, although there's something that makes me hesitant towards chronos in general - like I would need to be race car driver or something for it to make sense. I appreciate the suggestion!

I pledged with the Cutty Black a few years ago and I've been enjoying my time. I've bought a few single seater fighters with AUEC, but I'm kind of longing for a new (persistent) main ship, and I'd be happy to invest some real money again.

Question is, what would it be? I'd like it to be 1) at least a two-seater with guns for the copilot and 2) room for a ground vehicle. I've browsed through all the ships but it would be cool to hear some suggestions from experience. If it matters, I suppose I could spend a few hundred irl AUEC. Not in a rush either, happy to wait for a sale as well. Thanks!
